Writer and researcher. He holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology, a degree in History and advanced university studies in psychology. He has taught at several universities.
Between writing, attending to students and patients, and checking the running of the campus, he spends his day busy. The only thing that gets him to take his head off the computer, relax and laugh is Eva Caterina, his youngest daughter.
Responsible for web environments among other tasks.
Myriam came to Can Benet Vives from Madrid in 2014 and since then she has done almost everything. She had her daughter here, the first natural birth at Can Benet Vives for a century or more.
Reichian psychologist specialising in clinical and prevention of psychological disorders.
Graduated in Social Education, she comes to Can Benet following her strong belief in community life.
In 2017, she created La Llavor, a community urban homesteading project, together with 9 other young people.
In the last two years, she has traveled through the Antilles, Colombia, and Mexico. She has been involved in the Catalan Scout and Guide movement for 10 years as a youth leader and trainer.
She came to Can Benet in 2017 to do temporary volunteering without knowing that she would discover a place to stay and live.
She is currently in charge of keeping the campus clean and tidy. You will always see her accompanied by her faithful little black dog Lua.
Community Kitchen Manager
Born in Badajoz, she has been in the kitchen since 1999. Master in Conscious Eating and Eco-chef of Cocina Viva, she is in charge of keeping Canbenetians' stomachs happy and healthy... and she succeeds.
Born in Granollers, she is passionate about natural therapies, healthy eating and personal relationships.
This is the affectionate, kind and attentive person who will greet you when you arrive. In other words, she is in charge when you are on campus, hence the name of the position she holds, the governess.
Head of Campus Maintenance.
An all-rounder par excellence. With his patience, skill and cunning, he always manages to ensure that the installations and equipment work perfectly.
He is able to make the angriest person smile when things don't go as they should.
Born in Ukraine. He has a son with a Catalan woman, a difficult combination.
A real golden hand, he spent seven years as head of maintenance at the Campus, then went to seek his fortune as a freelancer and put himself at the service of society, but he realised that in Can Benet Vives we need him more.
Originally from Poland, he lived in several European countries before landing in Barcelona.
He arrived in a wheelchair and, literally, life on campus has healed him. He is detailed and meticulous in everything he does, be it gardening, restoring furniture or drawing plants, one of his great hobbies...
