when I left my university teaching post in Salamanca, after decades of dedicating myself exclusively to science and teaching, and began to use all that I had learned to strive to develop my capacities as a human being and to put myself at the service of others.
I travelled to various places and exotic countries, worked in beautiful centres run by very kind people, but I could not find the ideal space to hold my courses, workshops and seminars on expanded states of consciousness.
In 2002, with the support of a group of friends, we set out to find a suitable place to found a centre dedicated to inner work, to practical spirituality.
After two years of searching, we found a beautiful and harmonious natural space, the almost perfect place: Can Benet Vives.
It is close to Barcelona capital, well communicated and at the same time isolated in the middle of the Montnegre Natural Park, more than eight hectares of mountain near the sea, abundant natural water, exuberant nature... Let's get to work!
From then until now, spaces have been adapted to accommodate you and to carry out activities of all kinds related to our objective:
from experiencing catharsis and expanded states of consciousness, to the silence of zen meditation broken only by the crystalline sound of water lapping over the stones in our small pond at the entrance.
We also create spaces for theoretical seminars and even for hosting ecstatic music sessions.
During the first four years we worked conscientiously to equip the centre with everything that, being the demanding character that I am, I want to have at my disposal in order to work and obtain optimum results:
rooms with the right lighting and ambience, sauna, quality technology to reproduce music and image, not luxurious but comfortable rooms.
A team of people who are not only efficient in their professional work but who understand what happens to people when we undergo processes of transformation and can attend to us with love and respect, harmonised spaces following millenary laws of healthy energetic and telluric adaptation, a family atmosphere that respects individuality.
