Natural Park

The Parc del Montnegre and the Corridor

is a protected natural area of 15,000 hectares, which has recently been named, thanks to the mediation of Can Benet Vives, the first Park of Silence in Spain.

It is home to 13 municipalities in the Catalan counties of Maresme and Vallès Oriental. The Parc del Montnegre and the Corredor is made up of two mountain ranges that rise up between the sea and the Vallès plain, landscapes that can be perfectly appreciated from the campus.

To the north of this group is the Montnegre, a higher elevation than the Corredor, with the highest peaks of the group on the Gros hill and the Vives hill.

Both mountain ranges meet at the Collsacreu pass. Can Benet Vives is at an altitude of 550 metres above sea level.
